Getting started
Where do I sign in?
Your team has its own eZacto address. For hosted workspaces, use the workspace name from your welcome email or team invitation in the workspace finder. If your team runs eZacto itself, use the server address your administrator gave you.
Can’t find the address? Ask the person who invited you. The workspace finder does not search for accounts.
How do I get started tracking time?
Open your workspace and sign in. Add a client and project, then log your first time entry. If you joined an existing team, ask your administrator which project to use.
You can try the web demo before setting up your own instance. See hosted and self-hosted options to choose how you want to run eZacto.
How do I connect the mobile app or Chrome extension?
Install from our official downloads page, then use your team’s server address and the sign-in options it provides. Installing an app does not create a workspace or a hosted subscription.
For phone setup, timers and app subscriptions, read mobile app support. Your workspace administrator can help with the server address and enabled sign-in methods.
Can I move my data from Harvest?
Start with an export of your existing data and keep a copy before changing your old account. Follow the Harvest migration guide for the supported migration tools and setup.
Our guide to leaving Harvest walks through checking exports before closing an account.
Accounts & billing
I can’t sign in or reset my password.
First check that you’re on the right team’s workspace. Use the sign-in method you originally used, such as Google or a password, if that workspace offers it. Use the password-reset option on that workspace’s sign-in screen when available.
If an invitation or setup link has expired, ask your administrator or contact support. For self-hosted instances, your administrator manages authentication and email delivery.
Where do I manage a hosted subscription or invoice?
Workspace administrators use Billing in their hosted workspace to open Stripe’s customer portal, view invoices, update payment details and manage the subscription. If you can’t access the workspace, contact us for help.
Phone app subscriptions are separate from hosted workspace billing. Manage an App Store or Google Play purchase through the store account that bought it; see app subscription help.
What happens when I cancel hosted eZacto?
A scheduled cancellation runs through the current subscription term. It does not prorate subscription discounts or create a cash refund. Review the end date in Billing and export anything you need before the subscription ends.
See the Terms of service for cancellation, data retention and applicable rights. For a store purchase, use the cancellation controls in your App Store or Google Play account.
Troubleshooting
The workspace is slow or won’t load. What should I check?
Check eZacto service status for an incident first. Confirm your workspace address and network connection, then try opening the workspace in your browser to distinguish an app issue from a service issue.
The status page covers our hosted services. If you run eZacto yourself, ask your administrator to check that instance. If the problem continues, tell us the workspace address, approximate time and what you were doing.
A timer, time entry or sync isn’t behaving as expected.
Check the same entry in your workspace’s web app and make sure the app or extension is connected to that workspace. Keep a note of the date, project and what you expected before making changes.
For phone-specific timer and edit controls, see mobile app help. If entries still differ or a save failed, send us a report with the steps and any error message.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email support for account-specific problems. In the mobile app, use More → Contact support to describe the issue and choose whether to attach diagnostics.
For a reproducible open-source bug or a feature suggestion, open a GitHub issue. Keep account details and private screenshots out of public issues.
Self-hosting & developers
Where are the self-hosting and operator guides?
The container guide and Cloudflare Workers guide cover installation. The operator guide covers running your instance.
Self-hosted infrastructure, updates and account recovery are managed by whoever operates that instance.
How do I connect integrations, the API or the CLI?
Start with our integrations directory to see the connections and their setup requirements. The integration docs include operator setup guidance.
Developers can use the API reference and CLI documentation. Provider connections may need credentials and permission from your workspace administrator.

A person can help
Still stuck? Let’s sort it out.
Email us from the address you use for eZacto. Include your workspace or server address, which app you’re using, what happened and what you expected.
If there’s an error, include its wording and roughly when it happened. Send screenshots only if they’re useful, with private details removed. We don’t need your password, sign-in codes or payment-card details.
