App support
Help with the eZacto app.
This page is for the eZacto mobile app on iOS and Android. If something is not working, or you cannot find what you need here, get in touch and a person will read it.
Contact support
The quickest route is inside the app: open More → Contact support, describe what happened, and send. You can tick Include diagnostic details to attach your app version, device model, OS, language, timezone and a scrubbed tail of the app log. That attachment is optional, carries no location or contacts, and the log is stripped of tokens and email addresses before it leaves your device.
Prefer email? Write to support@ezacto.com and tell us the app version and what you were doing when it went wrong.
Getting started
eZacto is a client for an eZacto instance that you or your organization operate, so the first thing the app asks for is your server address. Your administrator gives you that, along with your sign-in. If you do not know it, ask whoever set up eZacto where you work.
You can sign in with a password, with Google or Apple where your instance offers them, or with an emailed sign-in code. Which options appear depends on what your instance has enabled.
Common questions
My time landed on the wrong day. A running timer is filed on your local day. The app sends your device timezone to your instance so that boundary is right; if entries still look a day out, check the timezone on your profile and tell your administrator the organization timezone may need setting.
I need to change an entry. Tap a finished entry on the Home screen to edit its project, task, date, duration or notes, or to delete it. Running timers are not editable until you stop them.
Something is missing that I can see on the web. Pull to refresh. The app caches records so it stays quick and works offline, and a refresh re-reads them from your instance.
eZacto Pro and subscriptions
Pro unlocks reports and drill-downs, uninvoiced totals, invoicing, and team views. It is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or annual, with a free trial for new subscribers.
Purchases are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. Manage, change or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the next renewal. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy.
Your data
Your time entries, projects and invoices live on your instance, not on a server we run. What the app itself handles is set out in the app privacy policy, and the terms of use cover the rest. To have your account and the data held against it deleted, see account and data deletion.
